Design and Reno coaching is valuable for anyone who is planning a renovation or already renovating – no matter what stage of the process you are at.

As your Design and Reno coach, I will walk you through the process in reasonably paced steps to ensure you make decisions in the correct order and avoid costly changes and mistakes.

I will help you understand the language of the contractor and their team, and I will interpret their requests into simple language.

As someone who has lived through many renovations and who runs projects for real clients in Victoria, BC, I understand both sides of the process. I will gain an understanding of where the project and contractors are at and what they need from you. From there, I’ll guide you in the right direction.

How often will we meet?

We can meet for a few sessions to get you on track or regularly throughout the entire journey. As much or as little as you need.

Can you review my plans and design?

YES! I can offer a second set of eyes to review the plans you have for your new home or renovation.

We can get down to the nitty gritty details and review anything you need help or assurance with – kitchen and millwork design, paint colours, flooring, finish selections and more.

I am in the middle of my renovation and I’m feeling overwhelmed. Is it too late for you to help me?

NO! We can pick up wherever you are. We will discover what’s done and what’s left and untangle anything done out of order.

Can you help me keep track of decisions as I make them?

YES! I have created a simple and efficient system for listing the decisions you need to make, down to the smallest detail.

Can you help me create my own Renovation Roadmap Project Binder?

YES! I have a tried and true system for keeping track of every aspect of your project, from the largest file, such as building plans, to the smallest detail, such as knobs for a vanity.

I will help you build your own personalized Renovation Road Ma,p which you can share with your contractor to have on site. It will provide specification sheets for things like appliances and plumbing fixtures and schedules for things like paint colours and trim finishes.

Your contractor will appreciate having every detail in one location to share with each tradesperson involved in your project.

How do you charge for reno coaching?

Reno Coaching is offered in 60, 90 and 120-minute sessions via phone or virtually, at $150.00 per hour, and on site in the greater Victoria BC area with a 2-hour minimum.
